What We Offer: Earning Potential: $90,000 - $115,000 including reasonable overtime loading and generous allowances (inc. superannuation) $37.31 - $40.93 per hour, depending on skills and experience?Tool Allowance: $17.90 payable weekly Attendance Allowance: $32 payable upon rostered hours worked Annual Leave loading of 17.5% Ongoing Training and Development: Including in-house Heavy Vehicle Brake courses presented by a registered TAFE teacher Exposure to Advanced Technologies: Work on a range of vehicles, including Euro 5 & 6 technologies Licence Upgrade Opportunities: Upgrade from a car licence to MR licence, with costs covered by the company Career Progression: The chance to fulfil higher duties or undertake additional roles Benefit Programs: Fitness passport, Novated Lease options, Employee Assistance Programs and more Team Environment: Work in a close knit, team oriented environment with quarterly BBQs to celebrate together Employee Referral Programs: Opportunity to earn a cash bonus of $1,000 for successfully referring qualified candidates for selected positions Role Responsibilities: This role requires a mature and professional approach with excellent communication skills.
Your main duties will include: Diagnosing, inspecting, reconditioning, repairing, assembling the fleet and ensuring safety, quality and Busways standards are followed at all times.
Maintaining all company vehicles and assets in accordance with Manufacturer's guidelines Ensuring all maintenance work is performed according to company procedures.
Attend breakdowns and carry out any field related mechanical repairs Effectively and efficiently communicate any safety or maintenance issues Adhering to all Work, Health & Safety requirements whilst performing work duties Maintaining clean workshop practices Reporting and repairing all accident damage as required Performing ad-hoc tasks and other duties as directed Our workshop staff play a critical role within the business to ensure our ever-evolving fleet of vehicles are continually maintained to the highest standard to keep our staff and passengers safe out on the road.
You can expect to be provided with all necessary training, this will include relevant information about our various makes and models of vehicles to ensure a thorough understanding of standards required to meet contract obligations.
