Meat Production - Skilled Workers

Programmed are currently looking for skilled Machine Operators & Knife hands for a large meat processing site located in Heathwood. Role:Operation of various food production machines including but not limited to Band Saw, Cruster, Grinder, Graselli etcUsing a knife trim fat off meat and or portioning the meat from the boneWorking in food production environment handling raw meat products such as pork, lamb & beefManual handling where requiredQuality AssuranceGeneral Hygiene / cleaning processesAM & PM Shift on offer - 12 hour shifts for AM, 8 hours shifts for PMComplete onsite uniform including boots, providedOnsite parking and onsite canteen for your convenienceFull training providedWhat are we looking for?Previous experience in an food manufacturing environment is requiredProven experience operating machinery or working on the production linePrevious experience as a knife hand or similar roleAbility to fault findWilling to work within a cold room environment - 7 degreesWilling to work with raw meat products (beef, lamb & pork)Must have excellent literacy and numeracy skillsAbility to work within a team-based environmentAbility to provide proof of working rights in AustraliaIf you think you are suitable for this role please apply by clicking 'Apply Now'.
