As they continue to expand and innovate, our client is now seeking a dedicated AAO - Meat Inspector to join their team.
About the role Are you a seasoned professional in the meat industry with a keen eye for detail and a passion for quality?
We are on the lookout for individuals with Meat Inspection experience who are eager to carve out a long-term career path within the meat industry.
Responsibilities: Perform and conduct yourself in accordance with the AAO Deed of Obligation.Perform all official duties as an AAO in line with the standards and requirements established by the department.Maintain detailed records of inspection findings and compliance documentation.Collaborate with government agencies, veterinary professionals, and other stakeholders to address emerging issues and ensure regulatory compliance.Requirements: Certificate III (or above) in Meat Processing (Meat Safety).Essential ovine (sheep) inspection experience.Ability to pass a National Police Check and Drug and alcohol test.Strong knowledge of food safety and OH&S standards.Excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.High attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills.Ability to work within a team or individual environment.Ability to work independently and make informed decisions under pressure.Additional Information: All applications will be treated as private and confidential, and only shortlisted candidates will be notified.Shortlisted candidates must complete LSA's Permanent Induction Document before being presented for this role.Pre-employment medical check, pre-employment police check, and client pre-employment inductions will be conducted.If you're passionate about meat safety and quality, this is the gig for you!
