In this role, you will ensure that our products in our FMCG portfolio meet all regulatory requirements and standards for market compliance. A strong regulatory and compliance team is crucial to McPherson's success, ensuring that we maintain our high standards and continue to build trust with our customers and partners.
Key Accountabilities: In this role, you will be expected to contribute to:
Regulatory Compliance - Ensure product compliance and manage all regulatory documentation, third party registrations, and certifications. Review marketing materials, product labels and product information files. Evidence and Claims - Workshopping product indications. Substantiate product claims referencing credible evidence sources. Build justifications to bridge evidence gaps. Product Development Support - Provide regulatory guidance for new product innovations. Assess product compliance and safety during development. Documentation and Record Keeping - Maintain regulatory records and product dossiers. Regulatory Intelligence and Strategy – Monitor and report on statutory and regulatory changes. Ensure updates are acted on and disseminated to relevant stakeholders. Represent the company in regulatory forums. Stakeholder Interaction - Address regulatory enquiries, provide support and training on regulatory matters. About you: To be considered for this role, you must have:
Evidence development and claims substantiation experience. Highly desirable, experience completing evidence packages for Listed medicines. Regulatory and regulatory strategy expertise. Be up to date on Regulatory legislation and standards for dietary supplements and cosmetics. A strong attention to detail. Demonstrate a high level of analytical skills. Be a strong problem solver. Demonstrated ability to collaborate and engage with CFT partners.
