As a Project Commercial Manager, you will report to the Project Director with secondary reporting to the Chief Risk and Compliance Officer and will work closely with internal and external stakeholders to manage the commercial, procurement, contractual and cost management across the State – Significant major road/infrastructure project. This role is responsible for;
Commercial Management: Actively managing all commercial and contractual aspects with the head contractor to reduce project risks and liabilities. Engaging major suppliers and subcontractors, including preparing agreements to minimise project risks. Assisting the team in resolving contractual and commercial disputes to achieve the best project outcomes. Work closely with the project finance team and project director to optimise the overall project financial performance. Risk and Compliance: Deliver results to maximise opportunities and minimise risk in an accurate and timely way throughout the course of the project. About You As the successful applicant you will have:
Strong communication skills, including the ability to collaborate with others Strong work ethic and a can-do attitude Senior experience in commercial management, including different commercial models used in the construction industry. Experience in financial reporting, with Pronto or similar experience beneficial.
