Mcmahon Services | Contract & Project Administrator - Civil & Infrastructure

As we continue to experience growth, we are looking for a Contracts Administrator to join the team.
Your primary responsibility is to partner with and support projects across the customer stream in procurement, contract management, and project administration.
This will include, but is not limited to: Contract management including head contract review, departures, and negotiation; Lead the performance of contract administration activities including preparing and issuing variations, notices of delays, extension of time, and progress claims; Assist Project Teams in undertaking negotiations with Subcontractors and Suppliers with respect to the contract, subcontract packages, and variations; Review and analyse subcontractor recommendations and requests in line with project procurement registers prior to forming and executing agreements; Accountable in maintaining and utilising the Customer Stream project controls including (but not limited to): daily diaries; project cost tracking; project reporting; material trackers; procurement registers; variation registers; payment claims and payment schedules.
Manage project financials including raising purchase orders, goods receipting, and completing end of month processes; Champion monthly project reporting ensuring accuracy in reporting metrics.
About You As the successful applicant, you will have: Qualifications in Law, Business, Finance, Construction Management, or a related degree; Experience in contract and project administration; Proven knowledge and experience in drafting, negotiating, and issuing Subcontractor agreements; Previous experience in civil and construction will be highly sought after; Unrestricted Drivers Licence; Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office applications; Ability to pass a drug and alcohol and fit for work assessment; Ability to travel to sites as required.
