We provide Aerial Fire Fighting, Bio Security, Agricultural, and Helicopter lifting services and support.
The Role Reporting to the Base Operations Manager and working as part of the Ground Crew Team, you will support our helicopter operations to deliver a range of aerial applications through the safe and efficient delivery, transfer, and loading of chemical solutions.
Responsibilities Provide safe and reliable ground support to our aircraft, delivering and loading substances for specific applications. Mix and load various substances, both liquid and solid, into aircraft to support specific activity. Perform general day-to-day maintenance of the airbase/aircraft and vehicles. Perform general shed and yard work required to maintain effective operations. Perform work using safe practices and observe WHS requirements at all times. About You: A valid driver's licence and an unrestricted HR & DG truck licence. A flexible approach to work and the ability to adapt to changing situations. The ability to work in a physically demanding environment. The ability to communicate proficiently and professionally. Be motivated to perform in a disciplined and busy aviation environment. Be industrious, proactive, and inspired to be part of a growing operation. Whilst experience in loading is desirable, it is not essential. Full on-the-job training will be provided for all other duties. McDermott Aviation will also support the application for job-specific licenses.
