The Project:
The Midland Station (Cale Street) Project is being delivered by Midland Junction Alliance (MJA) comprising of Public Transport Authority of Western Australia (PTA), MCD, Georgiou Group Pty Limited, BG&E and Arcadis.
The project involves the design and construction of a new Midland Train station and associated rail infrastructure.
After more than 50 years, the Midland Station will have a new home bringing it closer to the heart of the Midland Town Centre.
The new station location will improve connections to Midland Gate Shopping Centre and Midland Health Campus, while maintaining the railway's central role to enhance work opportunities and community life in the area.

Pty Ltd are currently recruiting for a Test and Commissioning Lead to join our team to work on an exciting rail project in the Midland area as part of work delivering and commissioning new facilities and infrastructure for the community.
You will be accountable for:
Leading a team of contractors testing and commissioning Engineers, technicians to execute the testing and commissioning plan.
Reporting to Commissioning Manager for all Rail systems testing and commissioning activities.
Developing and implementing testing and commissioning plans for rail systems, ensuring compliance with SWTC safety standards and regulations.
Managing the risk associated with testing and commissioning activities and taking corrective actions, as necessary.
Coordinating with other disciplines such as SRE (Supplier Responsible Engineer), PTA PE (Project Engineer), operations, maintenance, and safety to ensure a smooth transition from testing to revenue service.
Ensuring that testing and commissioning activities are conducted safely, efficiently, and within budget.
Requirements for this role will be:
Minimum Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or a related field.
At least 7-10 years of experience in rail systems testing and commissioning, preferably in a lead role.
Excellent leadership, communication, and team-building skills.
Ability to manage multiple project tasks and stakeholders.
Experience working in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
