We're committed to excellent customer service, safety, and ongoing employee development.What's in it for youOperate a Mix of Equipment: Kenworth, Isuzu, CAT - Semi Crane trucks, B-Doubles, Road Trains, Front End Loader, Forklifts, Extendable trailers.Diverse Projects: Construction Projects, Energy Projects, Government Projects.Customers: Long Term Contracts with ARC, Energy Queensland, BlueScope Lysaght & BlueScope Distribution.Travel to Exciting Locations: Work locally or head out to spots like Weipa, MT ISA, Cape Tribulation, Tully, Cairns, Maggie Island, and beyond!Your Own Truck: You'll have a dedicated truck if you have met our requirements.Great Pay: We offer a competitive hourly rate.Join Us: Be part of a forward-thinking transport company that truly values driver input and makes real changes.About the roleReporting to the Operations Supervisor at our Depots, this role is primarily servicing one of our key clients and is responsible for the delivery of steel materials, as well as loading and unloading products.Your key responsibilities will include:Transport products and materialsProvide excellence in customer service and professionalism, working with the client to ensure a high level of customer satisfactionInspect vehicles daily and report all mechanical faults and safety issuesLoad and unload products onto and off vehiclesMaintain cleanliness of vehicles to a high standardOperate in line with road safety regulations, as well as company policies and proceduresAbout youWe are seeking an experienced MC truck driver.
To be successful in this role you will have the following:Skills and experienceDemonstrated experience as a truck driverExperience in the construction industry is favourableAbility to work autonomously, be flexible, possess excellent communication skills, problem solve, and show initiativeAbility to drive long hours and travel regularlyExtensive knowledge of applicable truck driving rules and regulationsAdaptability and foresight to handle unexpected situationsQualificationsMC truck driving licenceForklift Driving licenseWhite CardSupporting a Diverse WorkforceLaw Transport is committed to providing an inclusive and diverse work environment where everyone is included, treated fairly, and with respect.
