Shannon Bros is a family owned and operated commercial grain storage, export packing and logistics company. We have been servicing the grain growing areas of the Wimmera and Mallee regions of north western Victoria for over 50+ years. We are a trusted, friendly and professional business that takes great pride in the strong relationships we have developed with growers, clients and employees. Shannon Bros use a modern fleet of Kenworth, Freightliner and Volvo trucks. An onsite mechanic is based at our Horsham site with well equipped workshops and wash bays at both Beulah and Horsham. Majority of the work will be loading out of our sites at Beulah and Horsham and delivering to Melbourne/Geelong/Portland areas. Loading off farm locally, is also a strong part of our business. Qualifications & experience MC Licence required Tipper experience an advantage MSIC and Basic Fatigue Management an advantage, will be provided for the right applicant Ongoing training throughout employment Medical, Assessing Fitness to Drive, required National Police Check required Vicroads history required Tasks & responsibilities A & B Double container operation (domestic, export) Understanding of Workplace Health & Safety requirements and work practices Demonstrated problem solving and communication skills necessary to follow directions and work programs to complete tasks within set timeframes Record keeping via apps and company record books Basic maintenance and vehicle cleanliness Customer relations with all clientele Overnight trips Job may be based from outside our Horsham and Beulah locations if required for the right applicant Your application will include the following questions: Which of the following statements best describes your right to work in Australia?
