Mc Truck Driver

Cavanaghs Stockmaster Pty Ltd is an industry leading livestock carrier, with depot's based in Tamworth, Dubbo, Wagga Wagga and Inverell NSW. Our fleet consists of 23 prime mover and trailer combinations which are maintained to the highest standards and updated on a regular basis. We are currently seeking Permanent and Casual MC drivers to assist us in continuing to deliver excellence to our customers throughout Australia, with flexibly work rosters and high pay rates.
Responsibilities
About the roleOur business requires experienced professional drivers to operate B-Double and Road Train combinations.
Key aspects of the roleLong distances requiring regular nights away and some weekend workLivestock handling, prioritising animal welfare at all timesWork as part of a teamDaily pre-start checks - Including early referral of any issues to our accredited maintenance teamMaking clear & accurate entries on job records and daily driver work diaryMaintain the cleanliness and tidiness of the prime movers and trailersFollow company CoR, WHS, speed, fatigue and maintenance programsBenefits and perksKilometre rate plus allowances, potential to earn $ 160K plusSheep Carters- additional week of annual leave plus bonusGreat Work / Life balance with flexible hours & rosters availableSkills and experiencePrevious MC experience preferred. Livestock handling skills necessary.
