Road Transport (Manufacturing, Transport & Logistics)Northfleet are the largest fleet provider in the Pilbara and are a market leader in the transport, bus, vehicle, and crane hire industry, supplying solutions to customers throughout Perth, Pilbara, Southwest and regional Western Australia.We are currently seeking experienced MC truck drivers to join our Perth team as part of our linehaul operations.Successful candidates will benefit from a great team environment and competitive hourly rates paid on experience and pre-qualifications.
We pay an additional $5/hr northwest allowance to drivers willing to work out of our northwest depots.
We have multiple positions available.To be a successful candidate:You must be safety conscious, punctual, hardworking, and reliable.Have a demonstrated long-term work history in a similar role.Must have an excellent understanding of access equipment and be competent to operate all types of equipment, to load and unload onto drop deck road train combinations.Experience operating Road Train Combinations.Experienced in transporting oversize road trains (preferred).Willingness to learn and work as part of a team.Knowledge of the West Australian Road Network.Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to communicate at all levels.Valid WA MC driver's licence as a minimum.Valid WA Construction Safety Awareness Card (White Card).Current Commercial Drivers Medical (within three years validity).Fatigue Management Certificate.Have a sound understanding of the regions and mine site locations.Desirable but not essential:Elevated Work Platform (WP) Ticket.MSIC Card.Tasks include:Ensuring compliance with all safety requirements including daily pre-starts on vehicles and trailers.Adhering to all quality control procedures including using the company's electronic recording systems.Knowledge and understanding of fatigue management rules.Operating the vehicle and trailer in a safe and efficient manner.Completing documentation correctly to comply with Fatigue and Safe Driving Plans.If you are interested in a truck driving role with Northfleet, please email your resume, driver's licence, Fatigue Management Certificate, Commercial Driver's Medical, white card, and any other relevant tickets to ****** application will include the following questions:Do you have mine site experience?Which of the following statements best describes your right to work in Australia?How many years' experience do you have as a MC truck driver?Which of the following forklift licences do you have?Do you hold a Construction Induction Safety certificate (White Card)?Do you hold a current Maritime Security Identification Card (MSIC)?Do you have a heavy vehicle driver's licence?Are you willing to undergo a pre-employment medical check?
