Mazzei Electric started in Nanaimo, BC in 1994. We started as a small family run company that focused on commercial service contracts. We now have a variety of multi-family residential, commercial, institutional, and light industrial projects across the province, complemented by our service departments that offer residential and commercial service and maintenance. We are currently hiring for 2nd to 4th Year Apprentice Electricians in Victoria, BC and the surrounding areas. Compensation for this role ranges from $21.17/hour to $30.69/hour, health and dental benefits after three months, and RRSP matching after one year. When you factor these together the total compensation ranges from $23.55 to $33.36.
Responsibilities
Conduit bending Reading and interpreting drawings and schematics Drilling and cable-pulling Punctual and reliable presence on worksites Follow safety programs and policies, wear appropriate PPE, and attend safety training as required Present a positive, can-do attitude in the workplace and with our clients Cutting in and splicing switches/receptacles/lights Use of standard construction power tools Qualifications
Must be able to be registered as an apprentice through SkilledTrades BC Electrical field experience is required Commercial/residential construction experience an asset Basic hand tools and cordless power tools Valid class 5 driver's license preferred Adequate knowledge of the CEC Willing to work out of town, longer shifts, and/or evening shifts.
