They are seeking a Senior Payroll Officer to manage and oversee the weekly payroll operations for Australia. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in payroll processing, strong attention to detail, and excellent organizational skills. As a Senior Payroll Officer, you will ensure the accurate and timely processing of employee wages, compliance with relevant regulations, and assist with payroll-related inquiries.

Full-time permanent position $110,000.00 - $120,000.00 package (depending on experience) Lovely offices located in Pyrmont Flexible with WHF 2 days per week Really make this role your own and be part of a growing, ever-changing business Be part of a team that's open-minded, supportive, and genuinely focused on outcomes Excellent staff discounts and benefits Birthday leave Opportunities for career growth and development Employee referral incentive scheme Access to a 24/7 Employee Assistance Program The role: Oversee and process end-to-end weekly payroll for over 2,000 employees across various locations in Australia Ensure compliance with relevant taxation laws, superannuation contributions, and awards Maintain accurate payroll records and ensure all payroll data is up to date Resolve payroll discrepancies and address employee queries in a timely manner Provide support in the preparation of financial reports and audits Collaborate with HR and finance teams to ensure payroll is aligned with company policies and regulations Assist with the implementation of payroll system updates and improvements The ideal candidate: Proven experience as a Payroll Officer, with at least 3 - 5 years in a senior payroll role Strong knowledge of payroll systems, awards, and relevant legislation Exceptional attention to detail and organisational skills Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information Strong communication and interpersonal skills Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel Experience with payroll software, ideally Micropay If this sounds like the next step in your career, apply today.
