Masin PNG, part of the Maxitool Group, requires additional experienced Vehicle Fire Suppression System Technicians to join our growing team. You will install, service, and maintain fire protection systems and equipment to AUST standards of quality and deliver excellence while exceeding customer service expectations at every opportunity.
About the Position: FIFO to PNG from any capital city or Qld Regional via Cairns or Brisbane Varying roster depending on site Flights and accommodation provided Your duties will include: Identify, service, and repair fire protection and safety systems and equipment in accordance with Australian standards, procedures, and processes Complete and provide evidence of maintenance performed on fire protection systems and equipment using logbooks and associated documents accurately and timely Manage and maintain all assigned company property, including documents, tools, equipment, vehicles, and products Report work progress and performance by completing productivity/key performance indicator (KPI) reports Installation, maintenance, fault finding, and repair of Vehicle Fire Suppression Systems extinguishers of various brands and types Conduct risk assessments with clients on machinery and record the outcomes and recommendations Design and certify systems and record the commission details in the company database Trade Qualified Vehicle Suppression Technician 5+ years' experience required Exposure and working knowledge of Chubb & other fire suppression systems Ability to build customer relationships and provide a high standard of customer service Up-to-date product and industry knowledge, and an understanding of where to locate the relevant information Effectively manage time and resources, with the ability to problem-solve A solid understanding of the Australian standards applicable to vehicle fire protection equipment Demonstrated ability to install, service, repair, advise, and report to full compliance requirements Understanding of hydraulic systems Commitment to Work, Health & Safety Practices National Police Clearance Ability to pass mine medical assessments and D&A Ability to undertake continuous 12-hour shift rotations Ability and experience in FIFO work What We Offer: Competitive salary in line with experience and qualifications Continuous employment with a strong and family-oriented company If you feel you have the experience, qualifications, and skillset we are looking for, click the "Apply" button and submit your updated resume together with a covering letter outlining how your experience meets the key requirements of the role.
