The Institute for Urban Indigenous Health Ltd was established by its founding members to provide a coordinated/integrated approach to the planning, development and delivery of comprehensive primary health care services for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander populations within the Southeast Qld Region.
IUIH established the Moreton Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Community Health Service (MATSICHS) in 2011 as a strategic response to the significant growth and geographic dispersion of the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples in the Moreton Bay area.
About the Role?
The MATSICHS Pain Services Coordinator role is unique as it focuses on coordinating a comprehensive multidisciplinary pain service specifically designed to meet the needs of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people with persistent pain in the Metro North catchment.
The Pain Services Coordinator supports these goals by ensuring the efficient and culturally sensitive delivery of pain management services, fostering collaboration among healthcare providers, and driving continuous improvement in care quality and accessibility.
Within this role, you will be required to:
Provide operational oversight of the Pain Service at MATSICHS.Manage clinic performance, ensuring a comprehensive, holistic, and culturally appropriate healthcare service.Lead a multidisciplinary team, including internal staff and visiting healthcare providers.Facilitate collaboration and integration of care among various health professionals.Drive continuous improvement initiatives by monitoring program data and client feedback.Provide regular reports to MATSICHS Management on program operations and performance.About You?
