The Role: As an IT Support Officer, you will play a vital role in supporting and managing our IT systems, with a focus on both technical expertise and user support. You will be involved in everything from hardware and software installations, handling user setups and supporting our IT infrastructure. You will provide both Tier 1 and Tier 2 support and provide training to our teams. The chosen applicant will handle user requests, offer thorough technical assistance, and guarantee the smooth running of networks, systems, and equipment throughout the organisation.

In this position you will: Provide timely and efficient resolution of user IT issues. Provide Tier 1 and Tier 2 IT support, assisting with a wide range of technical issues. Set up and maintain user hardware and software requirements, including user profiles on MS Office 365. Support the setup, deployment, and maintenance of IT infrastructure, including workstations, printers, mobile devices, AV equipment, and VoIP systems. Maintain the technology asset register and ensure accurate documentation of processes. Ensure hardware and software are up to date with patches and updates. Monitor performance metrics and contribute to continuous improvement of IT systems. The successful candidate will possess the following skills and experience: Advanced Diploma, or Diploma level qualification in IT or Computer Science. Minimum 2 years of previous experience in an MSP environment is essential. Proven experience in Tier 1 and Tier 2 IT support. Strong working knowledge of MS Office 365, Windows 10 and 11. Experience in IT support and troubleshooting across hardware, software, and networks. Ability to effectively assess, prioritise, and resolve IT issues. Strong attention to detail and proficiency in documenting procedures. Excellent communication and troubleshooting skills. Ability to work independently and efficiently with minimal supervision and within a team, often simultaneously. Experience supporting safety protocols in an IT context is highly desirable.
