Rosebank College has a proud and varied history of over 150 years as part of the Good Samaritan family established in 1857, and belonging to the Benedictine spiritual and educational tradition founded by St Benedict in the 4th century. About the Role
A school ofGood Samaritan Education, Rosebank College, seeks expressions of interest for the position of a permanent full-time Mathematics Teacher (1.0FTE) to join the Mathematics Faculty for the start of Term 1, 2025. The successful candidate will work collaboratively within the Mathematics faculty and across all year groups, undertaking responsibilities within the team as required by the Mathematics Coordinator.
The Mathematics Faculty is highly successful and fosters a culture of continuous improvement committed to student-centered practice. Applicants for this position must be excellent classroom practitioners, dedicated team players, interested in the care and welfare of students, and have particular skills in their teaching of Mathematics to equip them to contribute to the College's educational program in teaching and learning. Applicants must also be skilled in using educational technology in the classroom. This position will allow a creative and passionate teacher to flourish.

To be considered for this position, you must meet the following criteria:
Experience as a highly effective, innovative, and motivated educator across all Stages of the curriculum (4, 5, and 6)
Mathematics and a subject specialist in at least one Stage 6 Mathematics subject
Ability to Teach Extension 1 and 2 Mathematics (highly desirable)
A commitment to academic excellence and demonstrated knowledge of contemporary pedagogical practices that encourages academic excellence,
Commitment to continual improvement and effective use of data to differentiate the curriculum and address the learning needs of all students,
Interpersonal skills with parents, students, and staff,
Demonstrated ability to work in a collaborative team
Possess a valid Working with Children Check
A commitment to the child safeguarding principles
Willingness to support the Catholic ethos and learning culture of the College
Current NESA Accreditation and approval to teach in NSW
Supporting the College Pastoral Program, including being responsible for a Home Room
