Role Patterson River Secondary College is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Mathematics teacher to join the College in 2025 on a fixed term basis. The position has been created to cover a staff member on Long Service Leave and is likely to turn into an ongoing position due to a planned retirement at the end of 2025. The allotment will be finalised based on the qualifications and experience of the successful candidate. The College recently completed a large STEM Centre which is closely connected to both Science and Mathematics programs. This centre includes large Maker Spaces and 3D Print rooms. Problem solving activities and strong assessment practices are built into the maths curriculum resulting in student learning growth that far exceeds similar schools.
