The Role:
Do you have a passion for inspiring students to tackle the world of Mathematics? Are you an experienced Math Methods teacher?
We are currently seeking an energetic and passionate Math Methods teacher to join the Carey team in 2025. Reporting to the Leader of Learning - Mathematics, this role will suit someone who can make mathematical concepts come alive for our students.
The role is a full-time, ongoing opportunity.

The Average Day: Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality Math Methods lessons, ensuring content meets diverse learning needs. Assess student progress through assignments, tests, and exams, providing timely feedback to support their learning. Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and collaboration. Stay updated on educational best practices and integrate innovative teaching methods into the curriculum. Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and the wider school community to support student achievement and well-being. The Person: To be successful in this position, you will have:
Relevant Teaching qualification. Demonstrated success teaching VCE level Math Methods. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to engage and inspire students with diverse learning needs. A commitment to continuous professional development and collaboration. A valid Victorian Institute Teaching (VIT) registration is a requirement of employment in this position.
