Temporary (Parental Leave Cover)Up to 0.6EFT (Job-Share arrangement available)MCH Nurse Rate ($56.31 - $59.08 per hour)An opportunity exists for enthusiastic and self-motivated Maternal and Child Health (MCH) nurses to contribute to the work of our dedicated team in the role of MCH Nurse.
We are seeking a person or people who have a passion for working with young children and families in a position that has the ability to improve outcomes in the lives of others.
Responsibilities: In this role you will be responsible for the provision of Universal and Enhanced Maternal and Child Health activities, as outlined in the MCH Service Guidelines, including appropriate and timely referral and support for young children and their families.
Minimum Requirements: The position requires:
An understanding of the Victorian MCH Framework and Program StandardsStrong assessment and referral skillsAn understanding of the MCH software package CDISCurrent registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Agency (AHPRA) as a Registered Nurse and MidwifePostgraduate MCH qualifications and registrationsA driver's licence and Working with Children CheckIt is anticipated that the duration of employment in this position will be until 30 June 2025, but the actual period could be impacted by any early return to work of the party who will be on parental leave.
