The role: Actively participate and contribute to a responsive, holistic and flexible Maternal and Child Health (MCH) Service which optimises the health and well-being, learning, development and safety outcomes for children from birth to 6 years of age and their families within Central Goldfields Shire Council, using a strength-based, family-centred approach.Deliver a high-quality service that meets State and Local government objectives and targets and works within professional standards and guidelines of practice to improve the outcomes of all children.Work alongside other Council teams such as Go Goldfields and Early Services to ensure wrap around support for vulnerable families.About you: You are a registered nurse and registered midwife with postgraduate qualifications in Family and Child Health.
Your ability to communicate effectively with diverse families, combined with your strong organisational skills and commitment to family-centred practice will ensure your success in this role.
You are flexible, collaborative, able to manage multiple complex tasks, and have a deep understanding of the challenges faced by vulnerable families.
Part time role will be available from 27th January 2025.Ability to work Thursdays and Fridays is highly desirable.Casual positions available immediately.Central Goldfields Shire Council is a child safe organisation and an inclusive employer.
