Fantastic Opportunity for a Materials Production Scheduling Factory Planner to join the Wahgunyah Factory which is home to the Uncle Toby's Brand.
This role is accountable for ensuring the timely availability of stock from Wahgunyah Factory to ensure Customer Service targets are achieved.

A day in the life… Reporting to the Factory Logistics Manager, key responsibilities will include: To ensure targets are meet for Customer Service levels for the Snacks or C.P.W business units' customers.
Ensure a robust Master Production Schedule for Factory supply plan is developed and executed in a timely manner, ensuring stock availability and customer service whilst ensuring Business and Factory cost targets are meet.
Prepare, communicate and negotiate weekly DPS (firm for next 4 weeks), run production planning meetings, attend Daily operational reviews and jointly prepare, co-ordinate and lead the monthly production review meetings.
Support with raw and packing materials purchasing activities.
To manage finished goods, semi-finished, and raw material stock holdings, identifying excessive holdings, aged and bad goods, planning to minimize exposure within defined ranges.
Actively work with supply planning, factory staff and suppliers to improve product freshness, ageing, to minimise material write off.
Develop contingency plans that enable the identification of potential stock issues and actions to remedy, to minimize stock shortages.
Communicate and publish reliable and accurate stock availability information to support the requirements of our customers.
Negotiate shift and capacity plans with factory teams to ensure customer supply and minimise labour costs.
Maintain SAP and APO master data for finish, semi and raw and pack materials.
Assist in NCE / TPM activities, Lead Logistics and Factory projects, review and prepare departmental policies and procedures.
What will make you successful Joining a collaborative team, you will be self-motivated, proactive and have a proven capacity to work effectively within a team environment.
Minimum diploma level education and or production and logistical experience (min.
3 years).
Understanding of Supply Chain process in a manufacturing and distribution environment.
ERP system experience (ideally SAP), computer literate with fluency in MS office applications.
Understanding of financial implications and process knowledge.
Some experienced in Supply Chain Supply Planning with an understanding of Manufacturing operations.
Knowledge of APICS (CPIM) Planning and Inventory Management will be an advantage.
