My client, a global leader in the aerospace industry, is on the hunt for a Materials Planning Manager.
Role and Responsibilities:
Provide leadership to the planning and commercial team, coaching, mentoring, and developing the team to ensure high levels of efficiency and collaboration.
Work closely with Operations, Production, MRO, and Engineering to establish true capacity plans based on demands versus resource availability.
Enable the team to fully utilize the ERP system, developing reporting mechanisms and standardizing processes across the team/group where possible.
Interact with Quality, Materials, Manufacturing, MRO, Shipping, and Assembly to ensure timely deliveries.
Analyze inventory levels for purchased and manufactured goods, monitor and manage material inventories, track production progress, and review factors affecting schedules.
Experience or Qualifications:
Degree level educated in Operations, Supply Chain, or equivalent experience.
Proven experience in leadership with examples of improving team results and targets.
High-level experience in a planning management role (preferably in aerospace).
Strong MS Office and ERP System experience.
