See yourself in our team: We have a new opportunity for a Material Coordinator to join our client facing collaborative offshore team.
How you will be spending your day • Provide support to the facility team. Assisting to maintain control and the movement of inventory in and out of the various storage locations.
• Assist with the backloading of inventory and equipment repairs, ensuring all repairs to be transported are correctly identified.
• Manage all inventory and direct charge spares.
• Ensure the receipting, safeguarding and integrity of the materials and spares including the storage allocations are in accordance with Materials Handling best practices.
• Provide guidance, support and training to the Materials Handlers ensuring the facilities safety culture and materials handling processes are understood and adopted.
• Set key performance indicators to assist with mentoring and various objectives / goals are completed.
• Ensure the control of stock within the store in line with the correct policies and procedures.
• Carry out weekly checks of all "free issue" locations and replenish with goods issues from inventory as required.
• Provide leadership and coaching support to junior and assistant materials controllers offshore.
Key skills & experience we are looking for from you: • Experience in a procurement inventory role in the oil and gas production is desirable
• Knowledge of SAP work orders and procurement systems
• Proven understanding of business protocols relating to the procurement of goods and services
• Certificate Dangerous Goods by Sea an Air
