Materials Controller

We are looking for 2 x Materials Controllers (1 Mechanical, 1 Electrical) working on a 2:1 FIFO roster to Karratha for a newly awarded construction project.
In this role you will be responsible for coordinating the flow of materials, parts, and components and the general purchasing functions for the project.
Key Responsibilities: Mechanical or Electrical Material identification and procurement Experience with Materials Management Databases Providing expert advice, service support to customers and business partners Work in accordance with Quality Assurance procedures Organising information into correspondence or databases Purchasing and hiring of Equipment Liaising with internal teams regarding JDE, procurement, products and supply Liaising and negotiating with a wide range of suppliers and external service providers What you'll bring: A relevant Trade Qualification or Engineer BSc or HRWL RI Intermediate Rigging Preservation requirements for Mechanical or Electrical Materials - preferred Minimum Intermediate Excel skills Experience with Materials Management Databases Experience in receiving and storage of materials in warehouse and laydown yard environments Previous experience working on large-scale resources construction projects for similar companies Well-developed communication skills and a collaborative, team-oriented approach with the ability to foster interpersonal relationships across all levels Experienced using procurement processes and procedures Life at Monadelphous There's lots to get involved in, celebratory or cultural events and so much more.
