Want to work on Australia's largest transmission line project? Elecnor has been contracted to build EnergyConnect, a new 700km transmission line extending from Wagga Wagga NSW to the South Australian border.
This backbone infrastructure will connect customers with more renewable energy enabling a further 4950MW of generation capacity, save NSW customers $180 million a year and create 1,500 new construction jobs in regional NSW.
This role is located in the Dinawan Region, and would be a fixed term contract until late 2025. This would be a FIFO role, or could someone from the local area.
The Role As a crucial member of our materials team, you will be key in overseeing and managing all aspects of Materials Control within the project's yard and in-field supply chain operations. Your expertise will be pivotal in maintaining meticulous control and effective coordination of essential logistical processes. Your duties and responsibilities will include the following: Safe execution of Materials Control activities associated with yard and in-field supply chain activities for the ProjectSuccessful supply of all materials and equipment, including ensuring warehouse and administrative functions are implemented and maintainedEstablishing project set up in SPMAT for virtual warehouse locations, creation of MTO's Materials MovementsReceipting materials/equipment in SPMAT against RNs, maintaining up-to-date files of all MRRs and associated documentation, such as packing lists and delivery notes, RNsEnsuring materials and equipment are identified, marked and stored appropriately to allow for safe and timely retrieval and issue/distributionEnsuring that the Worksite team are informed in advance of any hazardous goods shipments (by a copy of MSDs) and any wide load/heavy lift shipments to ensure safety protocol are followedPerforming physical inventories, updating SPMAT (Site) and reporting any discrepancies to the Senior Materials Controller and providing recommendations for corrective actionsYour skills and experience: 4+ years of materials control experience in construction or projectsHigh focus on ensuring that all aspects of the construction work are performed safelyQualifications in Logistics/Warehousing or considerable experience in this fieldERP, SAP, Oracle, Bentley experience is beneficialOperational experience in running a warehouseWe're building a diverse workforce.
