Wood is currently recruiting for a Materials & Logistics Lead to join our Operations business in Australia & Asia Pacific West (APAC WEST). This is an opportunity to join our expanding Operations team, as part of our strategic growth plan for 2024 and beyond. Based in Perth CBD, this is a long-term commitment role and is available on a full-time / part-time (job share) basis.
Wood "Operations" delivers Brownfield's engineering, procurement, construction, optimisation and technical services to the Energy industry. Wood enjoys long-term partnerships with some of the region's most prominent Energy and LNG producers with operations in Western Australia, Northern Territory, and Southeast Asia.

Key Requirements: You must have full work rights to work in this Australian location. Ideally, you will hold a degree or equivalent professional qualifications in Commerce, Supply Chain / Logistics from a recognised institution and have a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in the Oil & Gas industry. Demonstrated experience in industry best practices in logistics and materials management, inventory management, client contract requirements and supply chain principles and techniques. Detailed knowledge of key material control and logistics concepts and principles and implementation of inventory / material processes and procedures. Experience in audit and assurance. Proficiency in the use of ERPS Systems (i.e. Maximo, Oracle, SAP). Be commercially astute with a "solutions mindset", skilled in the management of risk, consistent with safety and commercial requirements. Leadership Skills: Be a leader of people with several years of supervisory experience, capable of engendering an entrepreneurial spirit of cooperation and energising diverse teams to adopt best practices, driving optimal performance with safety at the heart of everything we do. Be customer-focused with an ability to develop trusted relationships with internal and external stakeholders while balancing operational excellence to contribute to the competitive advantage of #teamwood.
