Production, Planning & Scheduling (Manufacturing, Transport & Logistics)Full timeBased in Salisbury South, Ezy-Fit Hydraulics & Engineering Group is an Australian owned and operated designer and manufacturer of high-quality hydraulic cylinders as well as other bespoke engineering activities. Our factory premises comprise of 5,500 sq metres and houses state-of-the-art machinery.Due to ongoing growth and growing demand for Australian made products, we have multiple positions available including a newly created role for a Materials Controller.Duties of the role:Maintain physical stock inventory of raw materials through regular stock checks.Continuously update the MRP system raw material inventory.Store materials in correct location and prevent damage and deterioration.Maintain identification & traceability of raw materials with grade, size, heat, batch or job number.Issuing of materials:Allocate & issue materials to jobs using the MRP system after checking physical stock.Maintain issued material traceability within the MRP system.Record issued material heat numbers & storage locations within the hard copy job route sheets.Physically mark allocated materials with job numbers & required lengths.Provide cutting department with job route sheets once materials have been allocated.Physically move materials to required processes when necessary.Communicate job material requirements to purchasing department when materials are not in stock.Issue replacement materials for non-conforming product while maintaining material traceability.Identify, segregate & communicate non-conforming product to supervision or quality control.Receipt of materials:Check that received materials & products comply with purchase orders & requirements.Identify, segregate & communicate non-conforming product to purchasing department or quality control.Identify & label received materials & products.Able to use measuring equipment such as a vernier caliper.Book in received materials & products within the MRP system.Move & store received materials & products from the receiving area to their correct locations in a timely manner.Communicate received materials & products to key stakeholders as required.Safely unload received materials & products.Other duties:Physically move materials & parts in factory as directed by production management.Your application will include the following questions:Which of the following statements best describes your right to work in Australia?How many years' experience do you have as a Material Controller?
