About the role
The Mater Hospital Administration team has an opportunity available for an experienced Business Support Officer to join their team supporting the Director of Obstetrics and Gynaecology in a maximum term, 3.5 month contract 38 hours per week.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist with preparation of correspondence and distribution Coordination of jobs including follow up outstanding requests Lodgement of recruitment requests in Page Up Updating Kronos with shifts, sick leave, on call, leave requests, etc.
Work collaboratively with admin team members to provide office support About you
To be successful in this role you will meet the following:
Maintain a high level of confidentiality of both personal and financial information within the business Maintain up-to-date knowledge on procedures and policies of the work area Ensure effective, accurate and timely communication with staff and clients, communicating with professionalism, sensitivity, and discretion Exercise judgement and initiative within defined procedures, precedents, guidelines, and instructions Maintain a safe working environment complying with Workplace Health and Safety and anti-discrimination policies Support and assist other team members within the business as required Comply with and adhere to Mater Health Services and the private practice policies, procedures, standards, and legislation relevant to the role and business unit About Mater
