The Advisors Client Services group has five specializations: Strategy & Transformation, Performance Analytics, Business Experimentation, Marketing, and Program Management. Our Strategy & Transformation consultants lead clients through impactful decision-making as they tackle strategic, tactical, operational, and transformational business challenges. They apply a broad set of problem-solving techniques to improve the client's overall strategy, performance, and operations.
Roles and Responsibilities Responsible for delivering top quality work as a Senior Managing Consultant (Acquiring SME) in the Advisors & Consulting Services team, with a focus on building the Merchant Acquiring business.
Function as a Subject Matter Expert for consulting projects across the Australasia markets. Operate in an SME capacity for multiple consecutive engagements. Support Business Development team in the scoping of new engagement opportunities. Collaboratively pitch proposals to new prospective client opportunities with Business Development. Rigorously identify issues covering client problems in the projects managed. Generate key hypotheses and structure work at the project level. Develop effective working relationships with mid- to senior-level client management. Synthesize answers into clear, sound recommendations. Identify creative and useful additional answers required and suggest new paradigms for recommendations. Assess client agenda, internal culture, and change readiness. Create effective, impactful, and quality assured storylines and slides at the project level. Manage a project team consisting of consultants. Participate in training and developing team members, as requested. Proactively contribute to the development of the Global Acceptance Practice (knowledge sharing, training, collateral development). Proven background in the following Acquiring domains: Acquiring value chain Ecosystem participants Operating models Segmentation and industry vertical specialism Processing infrastructure (technical and operational) Commercial drivers Risk & Compliance Digital innovation Excellent verbal and written communication skills – be comfortable in leading an executive level discussion.
