Position Overview The Engineering Master Plumber will coordinate, execute, maintain and install all types of plumbing equipment, domestic water systems, sewer line and related devices. Interprets and applies mechanical and structural blueprints to plan repairs and modifications. Perform preventative maintenance (PM), inspections and repairs; respond to emergency plumbing calls.
Job Specific Responsibilities Responsible for all plumbing aspects of commercial building practices. Ensure that all regulatory agency compliances are being adhered to. Participates in monthly meetings and annual assessments. Meets deadlines on projects and completion of work orders. Estimates, schedules projects and work orders. Ensures safety precautions have been taken through maintaining equipment and a clean work area. Hospital Responsibilities Adheres to organization-wide and other applicable policies and procedures. Day-to-day performance complies with the hospital's Service Excellence Behavioral Expectations. Performs within the prescribed limits of the hospital's Ethics, Compliance and Confidentiality Program guidelines. Performs within his/her professional Scope of Practice at all times. Minimum Requirements Education: High School Diploma or equivalent vocational school.
Experience: Five years plumbing experience. Knowledgeable in working with cast iron, sweating copper, pipe insulation, installing fixtures, in reading plumbing diagrams, blueprints, and schematics.
Special Skills and Abilities: Knowledgeable in all required regulations for Healthcare.
Licensure / Certification Requirements: Master Plumbing License.
