About the role
We seek expressions of interest from experienced solar electricians and new-to-the-workforce electricians to join our company.
We have multiple roles and positions available:

Leading Hand/Master Electricians (solar electricians with 7+ years under their belt and larger commercial solar experience)
Solar electricians with CEC accreditation
Junior electricians, recently qualified, seeking to make a career in the clean energy sector.

Key Responsibilities

Comply with all laws and regulations associated with the electrical industry.
Safely undertake works following your training, qualifications, solar accreditation and scope of work.
Drive & operate company vehicles.
Work safely near live electrical equipment and apparatus.

The Job
As a licensed solar electrician, you will work with a team of 3 to 6 fellow tradesmen to complete residential and commercial PV installations. Our residential solar teams usually comprise 3 to 4 trades with 1-2 skilled roofers and 1-2 licensed electricians. Our commercial solar teams usually comprise 4 to 6 trades with 2-3 skilled roofers and 2-3 licensed electricians.

Solar installations (residential and commercial PV systems)
Solar system repairs and fault-finding exercises
Solar rough-in jobs on new-build projects
Isolator and inverter replacements

About You
You are a self-starter, motivated, lead from the front and love the solar industry! You take pride in your workmanship and enjoy passing on your expertise to the next generation of solar electricians. You are the sort of person who is smitten by their exceptional workmanship.
Requirements in addition to your CEC accreditations:

Must have Australian working rights.
Certificate III in Electrotechnology Electrician (or equivalent).
CEC Design and Install accreditation.
Construction Industry Induction (White card).
NSW Driver's License.
You love a challenge and value being part of a successful team.
Strong work ethic.
Physically fit and can perform a range of activities, including climbing ladders, moving heavy objects using correct manual handling techniques and tasks requiring bending, stooping, squatting, kneeling, balancing & reaching overhead.
Excellent verbal & written communication skills.
Self-motivated & proactive approach to work.
Organised & able to work under pressure.
