About YouAs a Spa Massage therapist, you will be an ambassador for the Cullen Bay Day Spa Brand. Along with your skills and experience, you are passionate about holistic wellness and thrive on creating memorable and distinctive experiences for your guests. Your formidable customer service skills, coupled with exceptional organisational & treatment skills and a willingness to learn & offer more, will be an asset in securing this role. We are seeking a true team player to ensure the smooth running of our wellness spa. Your role reports directly to the Spa Manager and Owner.
What Will Make You The Ideal CandidateThis position is suited to a Massage therapist who takes a holistic approach to massage and overall wellness and wishes to learn and grow their skills. We provide a holistic approach to physical health and emotional wellbeing and offer a range of beauty services; however, this particular role is focused on Massage and body treatments. Any experience in facials and skin care or a willingness to learn would be beneficial.
Essential RequirementsMinimum certificate IV in Remedial Massage Therapy (Diploma in Remedial Massage is beneficial)Minimum 1 Year Recent Experience In a Similar RoleHICAPS provider number, Public insurance, Membership ANTA (beneficial but not essential)Confident and competent in Remedial Massage, Trigger Point Therapy, Deep Tissue Massage and Pregnancy Massage (beneficial but not essential)Experience in Sports Massage, Lymphatic Drainage, Myofascial ReleaseOther holistic energy therapy qualifications such as Chinese Cupping, Dry needling, Reflexology, Reiki, Chakra balancingTraining is offered in Spa facials, Body Scrubs and Wraps, Relaxation, Swedish, Hot Stone, and Aromatherapy MassagePersonal AttributesConfident & honest assessment and recommendation of further treatments and corresponding self-care productsA passion and motivation for continued learning and education for your personal and professional developmentDevoted to executing a premium customer service experienceAbility to work independently and proactivelyExcellent personal presentation and groomingFriendly and caring nature aspiring to help fellow team membersHighly organised and able to deliver a premium customer service experience at high demand timesReliable and flexible with working shifts and availability to work SaturdayA desire to learn and update your skill level and knowledgeWe offer all employees ongoing professional development and training.
