Masp | Finance Officer

Details of the offer

Reporting to the Director of Finance, this role plays a key role in the end-to-end processing of MASP's accounting processes.
To meet operational requirements, the successful candidate will be required to start on (or close to) 1 February 2025.
Job Description The Finance Officer performs essential accounts payable and receivable functions, as well as reconciling bank accounts, weekly banking activities, and providing administrative support.
Expected commencing salary of $68,006.33 per annum plus statutory superannuation. Because MASP is a non-profit organisation, you also have the option to maximise your income through salary packaging.
Desired Skills and Experience Essential role-specific skills, knowledge and experience
Qualifications or equivalent experience in finance, accounting, or bookkeeping. Ability to process records quickly and accurately, with an awareness of the policy and legal implications of the role. Experience in accounts payable, accounts receivable and other finance administration duties. Demonstrated skills using accounting software. Demonstrated intermediate skills in Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word and Outlook. Ability to work unsupervised and as part of a team. Strong focus on accuracy and attention to detail. Ability to set priorities and work within timeframes and deadlines. Excellent interpersonal skills including the ability to relate effectively with a cross section of people, with the ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion.
