We are looking for a Supply Chain Manager based in Port Melbourne, Victoria OR Loganholme, Qld who is ready to be responsible for managing the company's overall supply chain and logistics strategy and operations to maximise process efficiency, productivity and value for money.
This position is full time and reports to the Head of Finance based in Melbourne. Please note there will be some interstate travel.
Key Responsibilities: Supply Chain Strategy and Management: identify and implement best practices for supply chain management to ensure efficiency and effectiveness. Vendor and Supplier Management: build and maintain vendor and supplier relationships, negotiate contracts and monitor performance. Inventory Management: ensure optimal stock levels to minimise waste and work with the sales team to forecast demand. Logistics and Distribution: ensure timely and accurate delivery and improve efficiencies. Quality Assurance and Compliance: ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, monitor QA processes and conduct regular audits. Data Analysis and Reporting: utilise data analytics to monitor performance, identify improvements and report on findings. Team Leadership and Development: lead by example and create a positive and high performing culture within the team. Experience and Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Management or a related field. Minimum 5 years experience in supply chain management, preferably within the pharmaceutical industry. Proven experience in vendor and supplier management, contract negotiation and logistics. Hands-on experience with supply chain management software. Excellent analytical, problem solving and decision making skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment and manage a supply chain function split between Logan and Melbourne. Strong leadership and team management abilities. Highly organised and adept at managing multiple tasks. Effective communication with a variety of internal and external stakeholders. Proactive and self-motivated. The capacity to interpret data for informed decision making. A focus on creating value, decreasing problems, and solving consistent issues with supply, planning, inventory control and operations.
