Job Description:
The role of the Supply Excellence & IE manager is to support the factory in achieving the short- and long-term business objectives.
You will lead the transformational agenda to deliver the strategic cost structure for the Labour budget, advising the Plant Director and Factory Management Team (FMT), analyzing the performance of the factory, and providing recommendations to develop the site. Developing the capability across all teams to identify and eliminate losses in line with the key priorities of the factory. Achieved through the overall coordination of the MSE (Mars Supply Excellence program) in combination with the leadership and implementation of the Focused Improvement (FI) pillar as part of the overall program.
You will play a key role as a thought partner with the Plant Director and have important links with Regional Industrial Engineering (IE) as well as the Global and Regional Supply & MSE teams & other Site FIM's.
Key Responsibilities:
Co-Pilots site strategy development with Plant Director in line with regional strategy. Development of the Annual Execution Plan (AEP) for the site in cooperation with S&F and the other functional departments. Preparation of supporting analysis for the business development of the site and for execution of Capital investment Projects (e.g. through Capacity calculations, What-if scenarios or Value Stream Mapping). Develops site strategy in line with Regional Strategy. Manage all labour/material standard setting and performance. Manages site Small Minor budget in cooperation with the Site Technical Manager and contributes to large and major investment requests for the site. Extending the use of MSE improvement tools within Quality, Safety, and Food Safety for supporting the asset health check. Training and coaching problem-solving skills for all associates and actively supporting the teams in problem-solving activities. Integrated management system: Follow up the rules, policies, and procedures established in Mars Wrigley for the correct performance of the integrated management system (Quality, Food Safety, People Safety, and Environment). What we are looking for:
Relevant working experience in a production/TPM environment. Previous Line Management experience ideal. Proven skills and experience in people leadership, including line management. Ability to travel up to 10% of the time. Strong affinity for analytical work, understanding supply chain processes and business administration. What can you expect from Mars?
