Job Description:

Mars Chocolate is seeking an enthusiastic individual to join the HSE Team as the Health, Safety & Environment Technician , where you will be the person to ensure we continuously evolve and improve our HSE Journey. You will be working closely with all levels of our factory staff to deliver strong Health, Safety & Environment standards. You will display confidence in supporting & coaching the wider business on adhering to the required standards and continuously improving the safety performance and culture.
What are we looking for? Degree qualifications or equivalent experience and skills - Diploma WHS or Cert IV WHS Proven experience working in a HSE role or implementing HSE practices Experience working in manufacturing (preferred but not essential) Confidence in conducting crucial conversations Skills in presenting HSE content to individuals and groups when required Ability to build rapport with all on-site functions of the business Action-oriented What will be your key responsibilities? Providing expert knowledge and guidance on HSE issues Handling incident management, investigations, and corrective actions Conducting Risk Assessments (Plant, Technical, Traffic, Manual Handling) Assisting/Coaching/Leading on Incident Management Associate coaching and compliance monitoring Managing and influencing stakeholders and peers Monitoring adherence to MARS standards Training review and validation Project Management and influencing positive change What can you expect from Mars?
