Job Summary
We are seeking a results-driven Business Development Manager (BDM) to lead the growth of our mixing solutions business in the Pacific region. This role is crucial in driving profitable business expansion and ensuring the success of the sales team. The BDM will be responsible for developing and executing a strategic commercial plan to increase sales to both existing and new clients, while managing the overall direction of the product line to maintain market competitiveness.
Key Responsibilities Develop and implement sales strategies to drive business growth in the region. Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers. Lead the strategic direction of the product line, ensuring it remains competitive in the market. Support the external sales team to meet and exceed sales targets. Identify market opportunities and create strategies for pricing, distribution, and market penetration. Manage the product lifecycle from introduction to phase-out, ensuring alignment with market demands. Provide product expertise and contribute to the development of business plans. Collaborate with internal teams to execute strategies, ensuring alignment across all functions. Monitor and recommend actions to achieve financial and sales objectives, supporting the sales forecast process. Engage with key customers during pre-contract negotiations, providing pricing recommendations based on market insights. Work closely with internal teams, including marketing and sales, to coordinate product introductions and sales strategies. Successful Candidates Will Have A solid understanding of customer needs and market dynamics, with the ability to adapt strategies accordingly. Strong technical and engineering knowledge, with the ability to apply this to business growth strategies. Proven experience driving growth initiatives in complex, international business environments. Strong leadership capabilities in managing change and leading transformation initiatives. Expertise in managing cross-functional teams and navigating within a multinational organisation. The ability to analyse financial data and take action to improve business outcomes. Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, both internally and externally. A methodical, independent leadership style, with a focus on delivering results. A proactive, resilient, and persuasive leadership approach with strong integrity and ethics.
