We employ over 180 people across 15 farms.Due to organisational changes, we have a new Supervisory role on offer.
This role presents a fantastic opportunity for a dedicated and experienced stockperson to oversee and coordinate the movement of pigs from one of our largest farms, approximately 1 hour north of Perth.This role involves working alongside the Farm Manager to maximise Marketing Efficiency and ensure the right pig gets to the right place at the right time.Key Responsibilities:In collaboration with the Farm Manager, prepare loads of pigs according to the Weekly Sales Nomination.Address all changes to the Sales Nomination in a timely manner and communicate all changes.Staff Management - oversee the work of stock persons assigned to Marketing specific tasks at the farm.Support the Farm Manager in the management and maintenance of all automated scales.Coordinate the movement of pigs across the sheds and manage the final sorting and penning of pigs in the pre-sale shed.Liaise with external trucking staff to ensure protocols with the transition of pigs to the abattoir are met.Conduct a weekly physical count of all pre-sale pigs and maintain accurate records.Ensure all documentation for load out is completed accurately and in a timely manner.Ensure all daily pig movements and sales information entered onto CloudFarms is accurate.Work with the Farm Manager in analysing efficiency tables and graphs, adjusting as required to meet customer specifications.Perform specialised tasks as directed by the Farm Manager.About You:Previous experience working within the animal farming industry, ideally in Pig production.Keen to develop skills across Marketing related activities.Committed to upholding the highest levels of animal welfare and bio-security.Willing and keen to support the Farm Manager, undertaking tasks to ensure the farm meets and exceeds performance targets.Your application will include the following questions:Which of the following statements best describes your right to work in Australia?What's your expected annual base salary?How much notice are you required to give your current employer?How many years' experience do you have as a Farm Attendant?
