We are on the hunt for a motivated & experienced Marketing Specialist to join our dynamic, fast-paced, and successful Flight Centre Business Travel (FCBT) brand to deliver the marketing strategies for our B2B customer segments, whilst leveraging the wider FC B2C brand & marketing.
FCBT are Flight Centre's corporate travel specialist for the Australian SME market. Established in 2012 to meet the needs of SMEs who value a people-led, hyper-personal Travel Management Company (TMC), FCBT differentiates from tech-led TMC's and those who take a D.I.Y approach to managing their corporate travel. Our number one promise to our customers is our Travel Managers - REAL people (no bots allowed!), just a phone call or email away. We are all about helping our customers with their end-to-end travel program (i.e. not just flights, we and add value at every stage of their journey!).
Working closely alongside the Marketing Manager, the Marketing Specialist plays a vital role in driving and executing the FCBT B2B marketing strategy under 3 key pillars:
Brand – Leveraging the wider FC brand teams to increase awareness of FCBT and the value of our people-led proposition & hyper-personal TMC solution Acquisition – attract high quality leads for our Sales team Retention – nurture and continuously show value to drive long-term loyal customers You will collaborate with the Marketing Manager on high-level strategy and objectives, which you will then translate into effective marketing strategies and campaigns. As the Marketing Specialist, you are responsible for managing the end-to-end delivery of integrated campaigns, including developing and executing the overall strategic campaign marketing plan across paid channels, owned channels, earned channels and partner channels, along with championing the essence that is FCBT to internal teams and external stakeholders.
As the Marketing Specialist, you will be experienced in providing key stakeholders with campaign, ROI and performance reporting. You will be able to easily integrate, interrogate and translate campaign data into tangible insights, as well as make data-driven optimisations to meet the brands acquisition and retention objectives.
Day to day you'll be… The great thing about this role is that you get exposure to all facets of marketing! Your role will involve exciting responsibilities, such as:
Delivering marketing strategies for B2B customer segments with exposure to B2C Developing and managing multi-channel campaigns encompassing email nurtures, blog posts, webinars, organic and paid social, internal advocacy, paid search and display, retargeting strategies, media placement, corporate hospitality and event marketing Working with media agencies and discipline experts to build media and channel plans Owning the creation of and adherence to project timelines to ensure projects and campaigns are delivered efficiently and on time Partnering with key members of the Marketing, Sales, Customer and Product teams to create the necessary messaging and tools Analysing, leveraging and acting on data-driven insights to help guide overall campaign strategies and identify new TTV generation sources Represent the FCBT brand by ensuring all messaging and advertising are representative of the FCBT tone of voice and meet overall brand and legal guidelines Routinely reporting on key performance indicators and other performance insights, making the necessary changes in order to maximise and return favourable results Owning budget management and accountability, ensuring timely and efficient use of resources and ROI. Managing and improving online content, considering SEO/SEM and Google Analytics, plus basic website page builds & maintenance Managing relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including exposure to multiple Flight Centre Travel group brands and key Industry partners such as Qantas, Virgin Australia, Accor etc. Maintaining an intimate understanding of positioning, key value propositions and messaging for solutions relevant to the assigned focus area We'd love to hear from you if you have… 2+ years in marketing Thorough knowledge of, and experience across a wide variety of marketing tactics (including ATL, BTL, digital, social media) Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects with competing deadlines at any one time Excellent written and oral communication with strong collaboration and relationship development skills Highly autonomous and able to independently ideate and drive projects to completion with support from other teams across the business The ability to create engaging content, adjusted for the audience and the stage in the B2B customer journey would be advantageous Sound understanding of managing and improving online content, considering SEO/SEM and Google Analytics plus website page builds & maintenance Experience with Marketing Automation and Salesforce preferred (not essential) Bachelor's degree in Marketing or a related field Mental Health:Support and Employee Assistance Program for staff and family
