About us The Royal Australasian College of Surgeons (RACS) is the leading advocate for surgical standards, professionalism and surgical education in Australia and Aotearoa New Zealand.
The College is a not-for-profit organisation that represents more than 8600 surgeons and 1300 surgical trainees and Specialist International Medical Graduates.
RACS also supports healthcare and surgical education in the Asia-Pacific region and is a substantial funder of surgical research.
There are nine surgical specialties in Australasia being: Cardiothoracic Surgery, General Surgery, Neurosurgery, Orthopaedic Surgery, Otolaryngology Head and Neck Surgery, Paediatric Surgery, Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, Urology and Vascular Surgery.
About the role You will be responsible for developing and implementing strategic marketing initiatives that align with RACS' mission: "To improve access, equity, quality, and delivery of surgical care that meets the needs of our diverse communities."
You will also support the Marketing & Communications team by running campaigns, driving brand awareness, helping develop and deliver the marketing and social media strategy and improving stakeholder engagement.
Skills and Experience Bachelor's degree or higher in marketing or a related field.Significant marketing experience.Experience in the healthcare, education, or not-for-profit sectors is highly desirable.Proven success in executing multi-channel marketing strategies.Understanding of digital marketing tools, trends and technologies.Experience in and passion for developing compelling, creative content.Solid writing and editing skills.Enjoyment in being an engaged member of a collaborative, high-performing team.At our organisation, we are proud to have a positive impact on improving health outcomes in the community.
