Overview Verkada is excited to announce our Marketing Development Representative (MDR) program in Australia! As a Marketing Development Rep, you will sit under Marketing and support Account Executives (AE) in an effort to build pipeline and source net-new opportunities. Ideal candidates should be passionate, high energy and a self-starter with the ability to adapt in a fast-paced sales organisation.
The MDR program is a 10 month program where you will learn what it takes to be successful in outbound sales and prospecting. After successful completion of the program, you may be eligible to be promoted to a Sr. MDR position indefinitely. If promoted, you will receive a compensation adjustment and an increased quota with the intention of preparing you to be a future AE at Verkada.
ResponsibilitiesMaking a high volume of outbound calls each day.Identifying potential customers and generating new business opportunities for the company.Contacting and qualifying potential customers.Managing leads through the sales pipeline by setting appointments, following up on leads, and tracking progress towards meeting pipeline goals.Collaborate with the Sales and Marketing team to develop strategies for reaching pipeline targets.Stay up-to-date on market trends, competition, and industry developments.
