THE ROLE:We are seeking a driven Marketing Research Analyst with a specialisation in social media and digital marketing to join our dynamic team.In this role, you'll be a crucial part of our marketing strategy, uncovering valuable insights from online platforms by analysing relevant data and statistics which demonstrates trends and patterns that drive the business decisions for us and our clients.You will be responsible for researching, analysing and interpreting consumer behaviour and preferences, social media and customer trends, and digital marketing data to help us and our clients understand our online audiences better and to make informed decisions about content creation, digital marketing strategy, and overall business decisions.RESPONSIBILITIESCraft Engaging Digital Campaigns: Collaborate with the paid marketing team to develop effective social media, email marketing campaigns, and digital marketing strategies that reach the target audience and promote the products or services for us and our clients using data collected from relevant sources.Forecast Digital Trends: Stay ahead of the latest digital marketing developments and social media trends.
Conduct in-depth research to anticipate shifts in online consumer preferences and identify opportunities for new content creation, social media campaigns, digital marketing initiatives and goods/services required by our clients.Analyse Social Media Performance: Collect, process, and analyse data + insights from various social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok) to uncover trends and patterns in audience behaviour.
Identify key audience segments, their preferences, and online motivations to inform targeted campaigns tailored to our clients' business.Monthly Business Analysis + Reporting: Research and analyse various social media platforms and digital channels such as websites, social media, and email marketing to determine top converting channels and strategies.
Identify trends, patterns, and correlations in the data across our clients, to inform agency-wide strategies and emerging trends.
These insights will be used to inform future business decisions, social media campaigns and digital marketing efforts.Assess Digital Campaign Potential: Evaluate the viability of new social media campaigns or digital marketing initiatives.
Analyse client competitors, platform performance, audience reach, and engagement statistics that have the potential to increase the demand for our clients and their opportunities for growth.Stakeholder Engagement: Frequently communicate with key stakeholders and clients to ensure these strategies and the analysis of their performance is in alignment with the clients' business goals.Collaborate: Work with the wider agency team to deliver the best possible results to our clients and create a thriving workplace focussed on learning and development.SKILLS & EXPERIENCEExperience: Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience in a similar roleAgency experience is desirable, but not essential.Analytical Skills: Good analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisionsTechnical Proficiency: Proficient in social media platforms (such as Instagram, Meta, TikTok, Later, and other relevant tools and platformsCommunication: Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate performance insights, research, and recommendations to team members.Job Type: Full-timePay: $75,000.00 per yearWork Authorisation:Australia (Preferred)Work Location: In person#J-18808-Ljbffr
