It involves ensuring marketing, sponsorship, events customer communications, public relations, social media and advertising activities are in line with ANZ's brand and division strategy and values.This role is accountable for:Driving consumer PR activity on behalf of marketing objectives, collaborating internally with key stakeholders to achieve the required outcomes.Managing external agencies across always-on PR and campaigns, ensuring agency performance and strong PR outcomes.Proving PR effectiveness in driving brand growth and desired consumer behaviour.Developing and executing a brand-focused sponsorship and community strategy.Assisting in driving forward marketing partnership strategy and activation initiatives, including prioritisation and planning aligned to overarching brand and marketing strategies.Supporting the annual media planning and implementation activities.Assessing Sponsorship opportunities for Australia Retail Division Marketing.What will your day look like?As a Marketing PR Lead, you will have the opportunity to:Deliver brand, customer, product, and channel-specific metrics against PR and sponsorship strategy and activities.Develop a strategically aligned roadmap of PR and sponsorship activities that grow customers and brand.Manage the budget allocated for PR and sponsorship initiatives to ensure effective use of resources.Receive positive 360 feedback from agency partners.Build and maintain strong relationships with partners and various stakeholder groups.Strengthen existing relationships and build new ones to drive customer acquisition and engagement through PR and sponsorship efforts.Design commercial and customer-related metrics as detailed in the PR and sponsorship strategy.What will you bring?To grow and be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following:Experience in liaising and influencing media relations, press and journalists, and managing PR agencies.
Development of PR strategies and tactics, and finalising press-ready materials.Ability to create strategic Sponsorship and Partnership plans and assess Partnership and sponsorship opportunities in the market.Capability to make organisational decisions on "where to play and how to win" in the context of the marketing strategy.Experience in managing executive & senior stakeholder relationships and expectations within the division.Knowledge in creative development to optimise the effectiveness of creative assets and overall delivery of customer and commercial outcomes.Ability to partner with B2B and B2C agencies to build effective marketing solutions & shared business outcomes.Skills to ideate, develop and prioritise initiatives that deliver the marketing and portfolio strategy.Experience in reviewing a range of Business Case scoped initiatives and assessing them against organisational resources.You're not expected to have 100% of these skills.
