The Marketing Operations Manager will report to and partner with the Head of Marketing, playing a critical role in optimising our marketing system strategies, enhancing operational efficiency, driving lifecycle execution and supporting key growth initiatives for the marketing team.
As Marketing Operations Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the strategic and operational aspects of our marketing initiatives.
Inclusive of setup, execution and optimisation of our marketing automation platforms, you will manage and enhance a scalable marketing system infrastructure.
You will also collaborate locally and globally, to support the team with functional initiatives and conduct ad hoc strategic analysis that enables the marketing team to successfully meet objectives.
What you will be doing:Partner with marketing team members to identify pain points and alleviate with streamlined processes and tool automationOwn technical support and day-to-day operations for various types of marketing campaigns including lifecycle channels, creating automated processes and implementing improvements where necessaryProject manage key marketing initiatives working with cross functional teams to develop scope, manage deliverables, required resources, and project plansManage the execution and enhancement of lifecycle channels, in collaboration with the wider Marketing teamEnsure the team is enabled to measure and analyse campaigns through self-serve reporting mechanismsProvide training, resources, and reusable, standardised program templates for the marketing team to efficiently self serveWork closely with other GTM ops, data science, and business applications teams to assist in executing cross-functional, strategic system projectsWhat you should have:A sharp business mind and a proven ability to strategise and implement critical programs from ideation to launchUnderstanding of a B2B SaaS marketing function, funnel, and digital marketing strategies & tacticsA data-driven mindset and ability to excel at connecting the dots and solving complex problemsMarketing Automation Expertise (Marketo and Salesforce Marketing Cloud is a plus) with strong knowledge of the sync between CRM and MAP with applied skillsA deep understanding of marketing operations for B2B SaaS organisations, focusing on lead generation, lead routing, and database managementStrong data analysis & reporting skills, including light in SQL and the ability to build data visuals to derive actionable insightsA keen eye for process design and optimisation, with the ability to troubleshoot, diagnose and resolve system issuesLifecycle management, with experience sending communications across a variety of channels, followed by analysis and ability to A/B test fundamentalsReal growth and career development opportunities, we're still young in Australia with plenty of room to grow.
