Position Overview We are seeking a highly organized and motivated Marketing Officer who is fluent in both Mandarin (native) and English (fluent) to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in providing marketing support and ensuring the smooth operation of our educational services. This multifaceted position involves marketing activities, event coordination, social media management, and collaboration with colleges and universities—all conducted in both Mandarin and English. The Marketing Officer will report directly to the Director of Studywest Education Services.
Key Responsibilities Marketing Assist in the development and execution of marketing strategies and campaigns in both Mandarin and English. Collaborate with the marketing team to create compelling content for promotional materials in both languages. Monitor and analyze the effectiveness of marketing efforts, providing recommendations for improvement. Coordinate in-house training sessions and webinars for prospective students conducted in both Mandarin and English. Event Coordination Plan, organize, and execute educational events, workshops, and seminars (both in-person and online) for Mandarin and English-speaking audiences. Coordinate event logistics, including venue bookings, catering, and audiovisual requirements. Prepare event materials such as agendas, presentations, and attendee lists in both languages. Assist in managing event budgets and tracking expenses. Training Provide in-house training on HubSpot and other relevant platforms to team members in both Mandarin and English as needed. Social Media Campaigns Manage social media platforms to promote Studywest Education Services and engage with the target audience in both Mandarin and English. Develop and implement social media campaigns to increase brand awareness and student engagement across both language markets. Create and curate content, including posts, articles, and visuals, to attract and inform prospective students in both languages. Collaboration with Colleges/High Schools/Universities Foster and maintain effective relationships with high schools, colleges, and universities that cater to Mandarin and English-speaking students. Coordinate information sharing and collaboration opportunities with educational institutions in both languages. Qualifications and Experience Education - Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, or a related field. Experience- Minimum of 2 years of post-graduate work experience in marketing or administrative roles, preferably within the education sector. Language Proficiency: -Mandarin: Native proficiency, English: Fluent proficiency. Technical Skills- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and marketing software (e.g., HubSpot, CRM, Power Automate systems). Familiarity with social media platforms and digital marketing tools. Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication abilities in both Mandarin and English. Organizational Skills: Strong ability to multitask, prioritize tasks, and manage time effectively. Interpersonal Skills: Ability to work collaboratively within a team and build relationships with external partners.
