About the Role:
In this fast-paced and diverse role, you'll take charge of planning, executing, and measuring all marketing activities for the prestigious BMW and MINI brands. Collaborating closely with Dealership Management, you'll play a key role in driving enquiries, boosting product awareness, and enhancing brand engagement to achieve our ambitious business goals. You will be presented with the opportunity to own and manage the planning, implementation, and measurement of all marketing activity for the prestigious automotive brands, including localised plans for Parramatta BMW, Parramatta MINI Garage and Castle Hill BMW. Working alongside the Senior Dealership Management team, you will be integral in helping generate interest, product awareness, and engagement with the brand, to achieve predetermined business goals and targets. You'll have the opportunity to own, manage and develop the annual marketing plan for the dealerships, including retail activity, events, launches, corporate marketing and promotional activities.
This role will provide the opportunity to own, manage and implement a variety of duties and responsibilities which include but are not limited to:
Overseeing the success of all retail, launch, corporate, events/sponsorship and promotional activity. Identifying and providing advice/guidance on the most appropriate, effective, and cost-effective marketing strategies and initiatives for maximising brand and product awareness. Deliver all marketing activities in line with the allocated budgets and time frames. Ensure all marketing activities are in line with the national brand guidelines and go through the necessary approvals process to ensure CI guidelines are always met and the business is not exposed to risk through unapproved activity. Effectively communicate all national and local activities within each dealership Create engaging content for press releases, social media and website platforms Manage and co-ordinate after sales and service marketing activity as directed by the Group Retail Marketing Manager Supervise, assist, train and develop the Marketing Coordinator in all areas of marketing, advertising, signage, customer service, events and Public Relations Assist with overseeing standard and output of work produced by the Marketing Coordinator to ensure brand guidelines, deadlines, quality benchmarks are consistently met Manage and implement opportunities for the brand(s) via sponsorships, co-branding campaigns and promotions. The ideal candidate will possess:
Passion and sound knowledge of the automotive industry Strong business acumen with excellent written and verbal communication skills Proven application of industry specific knowledge (preferred) A recognised tertiary qualification in marketing/business management or similar 3-5 Years' experience in a Marketing position from within a retail and event management environment (luxury brand experience preferred). Ability to build relationships with key stakeholders. Time management/planning and organisational Strategic capability and strong negotiation skills. Due to the nature of Dealership event activities, work outside normal office hours is occasionally required, including on weekends and evenings.
