As the Marketing Manager, you will:
Lead the regional marketing and communications strategy: Manage the delivery of TAFE Queensland's marketing and communications strategies, ensuring alignment with organisational goals and regional priorities.Drive collaboration and innovation: Work closely with the statewide Marketing Network, contributing to strategic and operational initiatives that deliver measurable outcomes.Provide leadership and guidance: Lead and mentor the regional Marketing team, offering expert advice and high-quality services to support the region's objectives.This position reports to the Executive Director, Corporate Services.
This is a Permanent, Full-Time opportunity.
The position will be based primarily at our Cairns or Townsville campus; however, you may be required to perform work at other TAFE Queensland campuses.
Key Responsibilities Provide leadership in the development and execution of regional marketing strategies to enhance brand presence, positioning, and market relevance.Lead and manage the regional marketing team, fostering high performance, engagement, and continuous improvement of individual and team goals.Undertake market research to identify emerging trends, monitor competitor activities, and represent the voice of the customer in product and service planning.Develop, implement, and monitor the region's marketing plan to drive student recruitment, retention, relationships, and reputation.Plan and execute innovative marketing campaigns and events, including graduations, campus tours, and presentations, ensuring the organisation is presented professionally and effectively.Develop media responses and manage relationships with media to ensure effective representation at regional events and alignment with organisational brand values.Support the promotion of partnerships and sponsorships, ensuring alignment with organisational goals and enhancing the region's visibility and stakeholder engagement.How you will be assessed The ideal applicant will be someone who has the following key capabilities:
