The Royal Aero Club of Western Australia (RACWA) is looking for a performance-driven Marketing Manager who is collaborative by nature to work across RACWA's product portfolio and help elevate the brand and drive engagement with the Club.
Working closely with the Chief Executive Officer and strategic marketing lead, you'll be involved in implementing the Club's marketing operations plan across both digital and traditional channels, including managing website content and UX, planning and implementing campaigns to promote flight training, flight experiences, as well as the Club's newly renovated café and bar, and nurturing communications to members.
You'll also lead a small team to oversee the Club's customer service operations and membership communications, providing day-to-day mentorship that elevates processes and ensures a customer-centric approach to all interactions.
To be successful in this role, you will: Have experience developing and implementing a marketing operations plan to meet both acquisition and retention objectives.Have experience across a range of channels, including social media, website content management, print, marketing automation, and digital media.Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and be able to tailor communications to audience needs.Be an experienced team leader, confident in managing and providing support for a team.Be highly organised, with the ability to optimise processes to gain efficiency in operations and deliver work across multiple portfolios.Have a data-led, audience-centric, and customer-first approach to marketing.The role also offers an exciting opportunity to gain experience in international marketing by promoting the Western Australian Aviation College (WAAC) to overseas markets. You'll have the chance to be involved in building brand awareness in both domestic and international markets to drive direct student recruitment and support B2B communications with potential training partners.

Key responsibilities & accountability Lead the development and implementation of the annual Marketing Operations Plan for RACWA and WAAC; providing audience and marketing performance insights and data to assist future planning.Support the development of marketing strategies for RACWA and WAAC, in collaboration with CEO, strategic marketing lead, and Club Committee.Develop, implement, and maintain quality content across a range of digital platforms including but not limited to the RACWA and WAAC website, social media channels, and marketing automation platforms to support reputation, acquisition, and retention KPIs.Monitor and maintain RACWA and WAAC websites via the Content Management System, optimising the user experience and aligning to brand guidelines.Lead the implementation of marketing and communication campaigns and projects to drive marketing and business objectives across digital and offline channels. This will include websites, advertising, print campaigns, event promotion and production, email nurture (eDMs), publications, and digital asset production.Provide day-to-day management and support to the Customer Service Lead to deliver high levels of customer service in all interactions with members and consumers, ensuring that customer feedback is incorporated into continuous process improvement.Oversee all member communications to drive positive engagement with the club and support retention KPIs, and provide day-to-day line management and support for the Membership Officer.Oversee RACWA and WAAC social media platforms, providing day-to-day support and line management of the Social Media Assistant (including content planning, scheduling, and ongoing community management).Monitor and report on marketing activity, providing insights to optimise current and future marketing programs to achieve objectives.Ensure all material produced is of high-quality best practice standard, is aligned with RACWA's strategic objectives, is accurate and consistent across all publishing channels, and complies with RACWA's brand guidelines, user experience and accessibility standards, and legislative requirements.Manage and maintain brand governance across RACWA and WAAC brands, ensuring all marketing communications are aligned to brand guidelines.Actively research and develop an understanding of key audiences to tailor marketing messaging and channel selection.Work closely with the Hospitality and Events Manager to promote RACWA venues, to drive member participation and engagement and drive new business through the wider community.Oversee management of merchandise for RACWA, including design, stocktake, and distribution planning.Provide marketing advice and support to RACWA's senior leadership team.Proactively keep abreast of relevant digital, UX, CX, and data analysis trends, to inform RACWA on digital marketing practices, and monitor digital initiatives across competitor organisations.As a member of the RACWA community, demonstrate the highest possible standards of professional and personal conduct, modelling RACWA's values.About The Royal Aero Club of Western Australia (RACWA) RACWA is a leader in aviation in Australia, with an established reputation for providing best-in-class flight training for both commercial and recreational pilots.
